A lot of people don't understand how Google makes a tonne of money by simply getting bloggers like you to write cool stuff on pages that Google advertises on. Well, we'll show you!
All you have to do to make money from Google on OUR site is, register, and you automatically get your own blog. You then post what's on your mind often, while we dynamically build a community of people to also join, while they read your posts.
Ads are shown on your page on the right side of the screen. The more posts we ALL make, the more revenue the site makes from these ads. But the difference between us and other sites is, meetUon.com shares the money that we make from our revenue with you. Why, you ask? Simple -- we want to grow our community with a wide spectrum of bloggers, people who have something interesting to say. But to make it interactive in a way that is more tangible, we figured the opportunity to make cash lures the shy, procrastinating and/or cynical better than most incentives.
So, how can you do this here on meetUon.com? Here's how it works ...
1. You need two things: this site (obviously), and a Google AdSense account, to get your ID that allows you to share in our Google ad revenues (if we make any.)
2. Click here to make an account with Google Adsense (don't worry -- this will open in another, separate window, so you can easily follow the directions ;)
Once you've followed Google's directions, it will send you a confirmation password to your email, with a link to log back into AdSense.
Now, you need your Google AdSense ID number. You get your personal ID number by logging back in to AdSense and clicking on the 'My Account' tab at the top of the screen. At the very bottom of the 'My Account' screen, you'll see a section called 'Property Info'. In the line that says 'AdSense for Content', copy the the part of the line that says pub-(a bunch of numbers).
3. Come back to the meetUon.com 'Login'/'Create and account' page, and click on 'Create a new account.' Now, here's where it gets cool ...
4. Just copy and paste the pub-(a bunch of numbers) line while you're making your profile, the the box where it says 'Google AdSense ID' (don't forget to upload a picture and join Nova Models and Talent if you're interested, while you're at it!)
5. Press 'Save' at the bottom! when you're finished.
6. Write for your blog, invite your friends to read your entries, see your pictures, video/audio clips, and to see how much you've made, log in to the AdSense site, and click on 'Reports'.
You can check your click-throughs (i.e. how many clicks people have made on the ads in your blog), in your 'Profile' section.
