Scams: what's out there, and how to recognize and avoid them

|

As we've hopefully made clear, what we offer here at meetUon.com -- besides a fun, multi-faceted membership -- is potentially profitable, and is totally above the board. In fact, Google has made a fortune using this very same technique -- we're only duplicating the concept here.

We don't share information with third-party companies, we don't have access to your bank account, and we can't make money unless you are making money. We're all co-dependent for this revenue generation to work (plus, it just makes plain good reading!) So, hopefully, after reading all of our information, you'll see that meetUon.com is simply an extension of the information/income/entertainment stream of the 'net. We're not a scam -- we'd only be scamming ourselves (literally). Just getting that out of the way Wink.

Unfortunately, scams are all sorts are rampant throughout cyberspace. We've listed some of the worst offenders below, but make no mistake -- these aren't the first, and they certainly will not be the last. We will at some point make a sub-site on meetUon.com devoted entirely to scams surveillance, in fact. But in the meantime, become familiar with these shady practices (and be sure to check out the websites and blogs of the respective writers and sources.)
